The nose is fruity, pow­er­ful, a bit spicy and of­fers min­er­al­ity. It re­veals notes of black­berry and wild berries com­bined with slight notes of flow­ers, hints of spice as well a dis­creet hint of clove, to­bacco and an im­per­cep­ti­ble hint of vanilla. The mouth is fruity, fresh, well-bal­anced and of­fers juici­ness, a nice unc­tu­ous mat­ter, com­plex­ity, a nice min­er­al­ity and a beau­ti­ful fat. On the palate, this wine ex­presses notes of black­berry, fine notes of blue­berry and fine hints of cherry, rasp­berry as­so­ci­ated with a dis­creet hint of wild straw­berry, caramelized oak as well as dis­creet toasted oak, a slight hint of licorice and a very dis­creet hint of cho­co­late (in the back­ground). Tan­nins are el­e­gant. Good length and per­sis­tence. The fin­ish and the per­sis­tence are suave. The fin­ish is finely pow­er­ful.
