The nose is fine, fruity, el­e­gant and of­fers a fine con­cen­tra­tion / rich­ness. It re­veals notes of black­berry, cas­sis and dis­creet hints of fresh red berries as­so­ci­ated with a dis­creet hint of flow­ers, bell pep­per (very dis­creet) as well as a dis­creet hint of spices and an im­per­cep­ti­ble hint of Sichuan pep­per. The mouth is fruity, juicy, well-bal­anced, tight and of­fers a nice def­i­ni­tion, a nice fresh­ness, suavity, min­er­al­ity (racy min­er­al­ity) and a nice fi­nesse. On the palate, this wine ex­presses notes of black­berry and black berries com­bined with slight hints of cas­sis, red­cur­rant as well as hints of licorice and toasted / caramelized hints. Tan­nins are very fine. Good length. On the per­sis­tence there is a dis­creet hint of cho­co­late.
