Haut-Médoc - Cru Bourgeois

VertdeVin - - Wine Reviews -

The nose is fine and relatively fruity. It reveals notes of blackberry and undergrowth associated with slight notes of coffee, juicy cassis, red fruits as well as a discreet hint of leather and Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, mineral, silky, relatively fine and offers fat as well as a small suavity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and slight notes of black cherry associated with hints of redcurrant, raspberry as well as a discreet hint of plum, toasted oak. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length and persistence. There is an imperceptible hint of caramel, mocha and a discreet hint of gray pepper on the finish.
