The nose is aro­matic and of­fers ele­gance as well as a fine com­plex­ity. It re­veals notes of fleshy Boy­sen­berry and fine notes of cas­sis com­bined with a hint of ripe red berries, a sub­tle hint of black cherry, a dis­creet hint of Bour­bon vanilla as well as a sub­tle hint of flow­ers and an im­per­cep­ti­ble touch of carameliza­tion. The palate is fruity, well-bal­anced and of­fers a nice def­i­ni­tion, a beau­ti­ful juici­ness, an acid frame, a good guide­line, a fine fresh­ness as well as a silky mat­ter and ele­gance. On the palate this wine ex­presses notes of juicy black­berry, fresh straw­berry and fine notes of juicy berries as­so­ci­ated with touches of ripe black cherry, a very dis­creet touch of blue­berry, mint, touches of vanilla, a dis­creet toasted touch as well as a sub­tle touch of clove and mocha. Tan­nins are el­e­gant and very slightly firm. There is an im­per­cep­ti­ble touch of gray pep­per on the fin­ish. There is a dis­creet hint of co­coa on the af­ter­taste.
