Domaine de la Navicelle La Colle Noire 2013

Côtes de Provence

-

The nose is aromatic, elegant, gourmand, fine, finely powerful and offers concentration. It reveals notes of wild blackberries, crushed cassis and fleshy strawberries combined with hints of fresh redcurrant, very discreet hints of violet, spices as well as subtle toasted hints oak, mocha and an imperceptible hint of undergrowth. The wine needs to be put in carafe. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well-built, precise, finely gourmande and offers a nice mineral frame, a fine suavity, finesse, a fine straightness, a fine freshness, a fine acidity (in the background), precision as well as harmony. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy strawberry and slight notes of cassis associated with touches of cherry, subtle toasted hints oak, chocolate / moka, caramelization as well as an imperceptible hint of vanilla and hazelnut. Tannins are fine and very discreetly firm. Good length. There is an imperceptible hint of undergrowth on the finish / persistence.
