Bandol

The nose is fruity, quite elegant and offers gourmandise. It reveals notes of crushed raspberry, fleshy Gariguette strawberry and slight notes of boysenberry combined with fine touches of blueberry, olive and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well-built and offers a nice acid frame, a nice juiciness, minerality, straightness, suavity, power (but well-balanced) and a good structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy strawberry, jammy redcurrant and slight notes of wild raspberry combined with a touch of blueberry / blackberry, licorice, caramelized oak as well as a discreet hint of sweet spices / cardamom and a very discreet touch of gray pepper on the finish. Tannins are slightly firm. Good length.
