The nose of­fers fine notes of crushed black­berry, crushed straw­berry com­bined with dis­creet touches of crushed cas­sis, toasted oak, liquorice as well as very dis­creet hints of vanilla and oak. The palate is fruity, juicy, min­eral, fresh, well­bal­anced and of­fers an acid frame, fat, a small round­ness as well as a small ten­sion. On the palate this wine ex­presses notes of juicy / fleshy cas­sis, juicy red­cur­rants and small notes of cherry as­so­ci­ated with touches of toasted oak, red berries, a very dis­creet touch of zan, cas­sis bud (in the back­ground) as well as small hints of choco­late and carameliza­tion. Tan­nins are well-built.
