The Guide binding works well for both classic backcountry skiing and free-touring. Easy to step into thanks to a boot’s step-in inserts, the binding offers a reliable and adjustable lateral and forward release. The XS version is for skiers who weigh 35kg to 50kg (release values range from 3.5 to 7), and the M is for skiers who weigh more than 50kg (an RV of 5.5 to 12). Lightweight (690g per pair), the binding is mounted on a 30mm rail that allows it to be adjusted to up to four or five boot sizes (the Rental version works for up to 9 sizes). This is a high- performance general ski touring binding. The dedicated ski crampons are simple to snap in place. This fantastic product is 100% manufactured in the Arve River Valley, at the foot of Mont Blanc: “100% made where we live,” as the guys and gals who work for Plum like to say, where know-how and passion go hand in hand with a great sense of humor.
