A “Shazam” for the art world

Art lovers, there is now an app which al­lows you to iden­tify art­works in­stantly. Just scan the paint­ing, and Smar­tify will tell you ev­ery­thing you need to know about it. The app was launched at the Royal Acad­emy of Arts in Lon­don in Oc­to­ber and is al­ready in use in some of the world's ma­jor mu­se­ums, in­clud­ing the Na­tional Gallery in Lon­don, the Ri­jksmu­seum in Am­s­ter­dam, The Met in New York, etc… It’s free, avail­able in seven lan­guages, and there are many in­ter­est­ing fea­tures, in­clud­ing one that al­lows you to save your favourite works and share it with other art fans. shazam (in­ter­jec­tion) like abra­cadabra!
