Nicola Sturgeon

Vocable (All English) - - On Parle D'eux… -

Now that is Scottish humour! Scottish National Party (SNP) leader Nicola Sturgeon poked fun at Theresa May. She turned up at the party conference in Glasgow armed with a pack of Strepsils. The joke was a reference to Theresa May’s infamous speech last month which turned into a nightmare as it was overshadowed by a persistent cough, amongst other mishaps. During her speech, Nicola Sturgeon took aim at a number of Conservative policies, calling for an end to austerity which she branded: “heartless, shameful and self- defeating.”
