The Boss hits Broadway
Bruce Springsteen is making his Broadway debut with a solo show at the Walter Kerr Theatre in New York. “My show is just me, the guitar, the piano and the words and music. Some of the show is spoken, some of it is sung. It loosely follows the arc of my life and my work”, he said. Springsteen on Broadway, which opened in October, smashed box office records with a huge first week, topping $2 million for just five performances. On average, fans paid nearly $500 per ticket. The rock star will run five shows a week through February 3rd.
