Who is Melania?

Vocable (All English) - - À La Une -

Melania Trump may be one of the most enigmatic first ladies the country has ever had. She is repeatedly described by journalists as “an intensely private first lady” ( The New York Times). According to Kate Andersen Brower, a chronicler of first ladies, “people are obsessed with her, because we know so little about her [...] She is very self-possessed and I don't think she worries about pleasing people.”

Unlike previous first ladies, she has a small staff, — 10 people, compared with more than 25 for Michelle Obama or Laura Bush — and she publicly opposed her husband on several occasions. For instance, in August, hours after Donald Trump insulted basketball star LeBron James’ intellect on Twitter, she issued a statement to support the athlete’s work with children.
