An Amsterdam bakery called “Anne & Frank” has been forced to change its name after a public outcry. Critics argued it was tasteless for the owner to link his business to the world-famous Holocaust victim. The latter said that Anne Frank was a heroine of his, like many people, and that it “seemed like a nice name” because his bakery is located close to the Anne Frank House.
