adelicate decor of hand sculpted white flowers invites the visitor into the refined world created by Maison abriza just footsteps away from Place Vendôme. Within, one discovers a fairy tale land of precious essence-filled candles ensconced in decorative porcelain chambers bringing together the exceptional knowhow of French master craftsmen.

The nine elegant fragrances are made in Grasse and their containers, which come in five designs and two sizes, are crafted in fine white limoges porcelain in limoges and beautifully decorated with refined touches of 24-carat enamelled gold. Within are the scented candles. The wax for the candles is poured by the master candle-makers at one of the oldest candle making manufactures in Europe and this step requires a special savoir-faire for the wax must be adapted to each fragrance. it takes two and half months to fashion these decorative candles of luxury.

This delicate world of fragrances for the home was imagined by abriza El Ghandour whose father and grandmother were both perfumers. Her first name, abriza, is that of her grandmother and means pure gold in ancient Greek. The fragrances, made from rare essences and noble materials, are her memories of her many journeys near and far around the globe. Each fragrance recounts a chapter in abriza’s life and the names intrigue, among them Crépuscule Blanc (White Twilight), Chant des Mirages (Mirage song), Délicieux Enchantement (Delicious Enchantment), Comme un Nuage (like a Cloud). Fragrance notes include intriguing Neroli, heady musk, captivating incense, bewitching Gurjum balm and delicate arabian jasmine.

Each candle is gifted in an amethyst coloured jewel-box and accompanied by a scroll, which recounts the Perfume Tale, different stories by abriza for each fragrance, tales born of her life journeys, nostalgia and dreams. Flat, delicately decorated saucers in limoges porcelain, available in four designs, complement and complete the decorative experience.

This spellbinding world of decorative fragrance continues with glass bells, inspired by the bells of the perfumer, to protect the object while revealing the fragrance to its fullest upon taking it off. Exceptional, numbered pieces are on hand as well. These are the Giants, ornamental objects crafted entirely by hand by a master porcelain craftsman in the Paris region. This candle with its four luminous wicks imparts a perfumed presence on any and every room.

For special occasions and gifts, Maison abriza makes up exceptional presents replete with their very own themed tale.
