One of the city’s most popular seafood restaurant chains, Le Bar à Huîtres, is everyone’s go-to table for fresh seafood. Here, the menu offers everything from oysters to wild jumbo shrimps, spider crab and lobster, with the restaurants’ platters some of the most extravagant. The Infinity Platter, for two, includes lobster, fresh Dublin Bay prawns, 18 Grand Cru oysters and crabs, while the Dorr Paris XXL platter, for eight, is an impressive tower with four lobsters, two giant crabs, 12 wild jumbo shrimps and 24 razor clams. And while the restaurants offer a wine list with no less than 400 different wines, make sure to order one of the signature cocktails that marry perfectly with your seafood meal. Try the Oyster Ginger Shot served with a No. 3 oyster and the Regressive Mojito, which comes with sweet candy for diners who enjoy something sweeter. With four addresses peppered around the city it is easy to find one close to you depending on where you are in the city. Reserve a table for dinner at the Boulevard Beaumarchais before or after taking in an opera at the Opera Bastille or opt for the Place des Ternes address for lunch after shopping along the Avenue des Champs-Elysées and visiting the Arc de Triomphe. - S.I.
