Tu­dor is cel­e­brat­ing 60 years of man­u­fac­tur­ing div­ing watches in style with its new Her­itage Black Bay diver’s watch in a new steel and gold ver­sion. The time­piece is out­fit­ted with the Man­u­fac­ture Cal­i­bre MT5612 move­ment cer­ti­fied by the Swiss Of­fi­cial Chronome­ter Test­ing In­sti­tute (COSC). The steel and gold model also in­tro­duces a date func­tion into the Black Bay fam­ily in ad­di­tion to the hour, minute and sec­ond func­tions. Called the Black Bay S&G, it has the 41mm stain­less steel Black Bay case and comes with a steel and yel­low gold bracelet or a brown aged leather strap as well as an ad­di­tional fab­ric strap made by a 150-year-old fam­ily firm in France us­ing the Jac­quard tech­nique. Its ro­tat­ing bezel and wind­ing crown are in yel­low gold and the crown is topped off with the black lac­quered Tu­dor rose and black tube, and on a vin­tage note the watch’s steel and yel­low gold bracelet is riv­eted like the Tu­dor bracelets of the 1950s and 1960s.
