Al­cazar - Brasserie This fam­ily-owned Parisian restau­rant of­fers a har­mo­nious at­mos­phere high­lighted by lux­u­ri­ant veg­e­ta­tion. Savour a beet, goat cheese and hazel­nut salad for starters then try a nicely spiced shoul­der of lamb with apri­cots for a main. Mean­while cock­tails can be en­joyed up on the bal­cony. The at­mos­phere is still Parisian, the fare lim­ited to (ex­pen­sive) drinks and light snacks and tra­di­tional desserts. The ca­sual ground floor Sa­lon d’Hélène serves up­scale ta­pas. Tue-Sat L&D. 4 rue d’As­sas (6th), Mº Sèvres Baby­lone La Méditer­ranée - Seafood A bright and beau­ti­ful, mostly seafood restau­rant with mar­velous wall paint­ings and a glass­walled ter­race fac­ing the Odéon the­ater. It once wel­comed the likes of Liz Tay­lor and Or­son Welles, as the dis­creet photos on the stair­well at­test. Daily L&D un­til 11 pm. 2 Place de l’Odéon (6th), M° Odéon Lapérouse - Gourmet This el­e­gant restau­rant on the Seine serves finely pre­pared gas­tro­nomic French cui­sine.
