An­gelina, the fa­mous Parisian tea room, has de­clared this weekend Mont-Blanc Weekend. Fol­low­ing the pre­vi­ous years’ suc­cess­ful Mont-Blanc Day, An­gelina has given what the pub­lic wants, a full weekend of whipped Chan­tilly cream, ch­est­nut cream and crunchy meringue. Cel­e­brat­ing its sig­na­ture patis­serie, this year pas­try chef Christophe Ap­pert has de­con­structed it and is serv­ing it atop a tart base made with chest­nuts. The Tarte Mont-Blanc is avail­able at all An­gelina ad­dresses in­clud­ing the his­tor­i­cal tea room on Rue de Rivoli.
