CATHEDRALE DE LA SAINTE-TRINITE

This Rus­sian Ortho­dox cathe­dral is lo­cated in the Rus­sian Ortho­dox spir­i­tual and cul­tural cen­tre. Its five smooth gold onion domes cov­ered in 90,000 leaves of gold are topped by Rus­sian ortho­dox crosses with the high­est stand­ing at over 36 me­tres. EIF­FEL TOWER

Built as a tem­po­rary ex­hibit for the 1889 World’s Fair, the iron struc­ture now sym­bol­ises Paris the world over. The tower sparkles with twin­kling lights ev­ery hour on the hour from twi­light to 2am. From Jun 15 through Sept 1 9am-12:45am (stairs and lifts, last ad­mis­sion stairs, last lift mid­night). From Sept 2 through Jun 14 lift open daily 9:30am-11:00pm, From Sept 2 through Jun 14 stairs open daily 9:30am-6:30pm. Last en­tries 45 min­utes be­fore clos­ing. En­try fee (10-25€ for adults) de­pends on how high you go. There is a glass floor on the first floor 57 me­tres above Paris and a cham­pagne bar is on the top of the tower, open from noon to 10pm.
