Over­look­ing Le Bur­gundy Ho­tel’s in­ti­mate pa­tio, with French doors open­ing up to the out­side, trans­port­ing you to a charm­ing at­mos­phere rem­i­nis­cent of the South of France, Le Baude­laire is a won­der­ful ta­ble to de­light in French cui­sine. The Miche­lin-starred ta­ble sees chef Guil­laume Goupil show off his tal­ents, bring­ing diners a cre­ative menu with dishes that in­clude snails served with a smoked potato cream and glazed chanterelle mush­rooms, pan roasted sweet­breads with crispy ca­pers and baby Swiss chard, and cod fish cooked in seaweed but­ter and served with pur­ple ar­ti­choke and sweet black­ber­ries. Elon­gate your lunch or din­ner in this charm­ing restau­rant and savour ev­ery morsel of your dessert. Pas­try chef Pas­cal Hainigue has cre­ated an in­ven­tive menu com­ple­ment­ing Goupil’s of­fer­ings with desserts in­clud­ing apri­cots driz­zled with a toasted rose­mary emul­sion and served with an apri­cot sor­bet, and a choco­late meringue filled with Ma­caé choco­late and served with choco­late ice­cream. – S.I.
