TIP
Two big challenges for non-native speakers can be managing the technical vocabulary relating to the negotiation and finding the right words when under pressure. Mastery of technical vocabulary requires preparation, practice and seeking the help and advice of experienced colleagues. Finding the right words requires training yourself not to panic, and being ready to improvise — for example using your hands, drawing a picture or appealing to someone else in the room who speaks your language. Use an electronic translator only as a last resort.
