The Forbidden City
The Great Chinese National Circus has been bridging the cultural gap between China and Europe for over two decades. Now back in Berlin with a new season and new show, The Forbidden City is named after the imperial palace in Beijing historically known for having its gates tightly controlled by the emperor. This acrobatic production gives viewers a chance for a glimpse inside the famed Forbidden City and Imperial Palace through stories of emperors, Confucius, and concubines.
