What is your perfect day like?
My perfect day always starts with a good run. Then I would ideally meet my husband for lunch at Pauly Saal, followed by a visit to the Queensized exhibition at the me Collectors Room and by an afternoon perusing the lovely shops along Weinbergsweg and Kastanienallee.
When you have visitors, where do you take them?
If it’s the right day of the week, I take them on a tour with Videobustour – driving through today’s Berlin and looking at footage of Berlin in the past.
What are your tips for Berlin?
It’s no longer a secret: Cordobar in Mitte. It makes the saying “the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach” ring true.

A burlesque dancer.
What do you do after work?
Kidnap family and friends for a night out at
the theaters and restaurants of the city.

We are the most beautiful building on Potsdamer Platz! And don’t forget to visit our Fragrances Bar.
Which event do you recommend this month?
The Berlinale – watch as many movies as possible from all genres.
Where is the coziest place in Berlin?
In the deep armchairs of our Curtain Club.
Tips for a German specialty?
Blood sausage from Blutwurstmanufaktur in Neukölln, also to be taste-tested at the restaurant VAU.
What distinguishes Berlin from other cities?
The new start it had to undergo in 1989/1990 as a much bigger Berlin, and what has come out of it.
Do you know a romantic place in Berlin?
I spent my fifth wedding anniversary at the restaurant Hugos. It was incredibly romantic up there!
