What inspired you to start making music, and where is your main inspiration from?
There was a beautiful, old piano in my parents’ living room, so I started playing on it naturally, before starting piano lessons at the age of six. The main inspiration to start composing my own music came later, though. A friend of mine gave me a disk with music he had composed with a computer program. I was impressed and thought I could try it, too. I spent the next few years composing literally hundreds of songs in all kinds of styles until I finally found my own style after I moved to Berlin. I draw inspiration mostly from books, movies, old photographs, and dreams.
