New Be­gin­ning, presents the si­mul­ta­ne­ous po­lit­i­cal and so­cial de­vel­op­ments of 11 Euro­pean coun­tries, in­clud­ing Ger­many, Aus­tria, and Cze­choslo­vakia di­rectly af­ter World War II, zoom­ing in on the per­sonal ex­pe­ri­ences of those who were ex­posed to the changes first hand.
