The Gay Mu­seum

One of the world’s largest and most sig­nif­i­cant in­sti­tu­tions for ar­chiv­ing, re­search­ing, and com­mu­ni­cat­ing the history and cul­ture of LGBTQ com­mu­ni­ties. Kun­st­gewerbe­mu­seum

Known in English as the Mu­seum of Dec­o­ra­tive Arts, the in­sti­tu­tion’s build­ing re­opened at the Kul­tur­fo­rum in 2014 af­ter years of ren­o­va­tions. Ger­many’s first mu­seum of its kind ex­hibits some of the most fa­mous and out­stand­ing Euro­pean crafts from the early Mid­dle Ages to the present, in­clud­ing mas­ter­pieces of me­dieval gold­smithing.
