Transformed into an exhibition space after WWII, the Haus am Waldsee (p. 43) features works from contemporary artists year-round. The current focus is the interactive and multimedia exhibition titled Everything We Possess Possesses Us, Too from performance artist Nezaket Ekici. Born in Turkey and raised in Germany, Ekici challenges and explores the physical limitations of art by transforming and using her body as a medium and integral part of her projects or installations. Aside from pushing the tangible boundaries of art, Ekici employs the use of symbolic costuming, questioning traditions and religious values, and thereby embodying the multicultural and progressive society of today.
