Where Berlin - - DINING -

Vegetables: They do a body good. If you’ve been going a little too heavy on sausages, beer, and since your arrival in Berlin, Daluma is just the spot to detox, recharge, and give your body some much-needed nourishment. The casual Mitte eatery opened in late 2014 to supply health- conscious Berliners with green smoothies, tasty vegetarian breakfasts and lunches, and even take-home juice cleanses, for those committed to getting a fresh start. The menu, which is 100-percent organic and predominately raw, is liberally pepped up with such exotic-sounding superfood supplements as moringa powder, chia seeds, lucuma, and matcha. Choose from an assortment of salads, soups, and customizable grain and bean bowls, topped with goodies like hemp seeds, herbs, almond butter, and sprouts. Or grab a cold-pressed juice or smoothie to go. The Burn, Baby, Burn, with beets, guava, orange, acerola, and invigorating green coffee, provides an energy kick that will last through a whole afternoon of sightseeing or shopping.
