Young, en­er­getic, and full of fresh ideas: The dy­namic vibe of Ber­lin has made the cap­i­tal a hub in the Euro­pean startup scene. That same vibe per­me­ates Fac­tory Ber­lin, a mas­sive new tech­nol­ogy cam­pus and startup in­cu­ba­tor funded by Google, that's at­tracted such no­table tech ten­ants as SoundCloud, Twit­ter, and Uber. The latest star to set up at Fac­tory is Miche­lin-starred chef Tim Raue, who opened his fourth res­tau­rant, stu­dio TIM RAUE, at the Pren­zlauer Berg tech cam­pus ear­lier this year. The cal­iber of the weekday busi­ness-lunch spe­cials is be­fit­ting of Raue’s star- chef pedi­gree, while the price point re­mains mid­day-friendly, and in the evenings, food­ies can look for­ward to prix-fixe din­ner menus rang­ing from five to 12 cour­ses. Raue’s fond­ness for Asian cuisines is one of his call­ing cards, and the chang­ing menu may in­clude Thai-in­flu­enced del­i­ca­cies such as sea bream with lily blos­soms or spicy pa­paya salad with red prawns.
