I WANT TO FEEL THE BERLIN VIBES...

Where Berlin - - BERLIN MANUAL -

What makes Berlin the epicenter of Europe’s alternative scene? The great clubs, the elusive post-industrial spaces, or the easy going attitude of the locals? Probably all of the above, combined with the city’s knack for continually surprising its visitors. Neukölln’s Klunkerkranich (Karl-Marx-Str. 66, 5th floor, www.klunkerkranich.de), for example, feels like a beach bar up on the rooftop of a department store. Its atmosphere and view are so striking that Gucci used it as the set for its 2016 summer campaign. For more Berlin vibes, head to the banks of the Spree river at Club der Visionäre (clubdervisionaere.com) or at Holzmarkt, a large riverside complex housing art galleries, clubs, and the relaxed outdoor bar Pampas (Holzmarkt Str. 19–30, www.holzmarkt.com).
