In 1905, Krigler's orig­i­nal shop on Unter den Lin­den wit­nessed the flour­ish­ing of Ber­lin's leg­endary mu­sic and cabaret scene, and in 1909 his scents went abroad when he opened a new bou­tique in the south of France, where he be­came the per­fumer of F. Scott Fitzger­ald, Hemingway, and Pi­casso. Over the years, his fra­grances have been ap­pre­ci­ated by celebri­ties such as John F. Kennedy, Audrey Hep­burn, Grace Kelly, and Coco Chanel.
