Industrial Charm

Where Berlin - - SHOPPING -

Jools and Vince each spent the late '80s exploring the urban fringes of Berlin looking for forsaken industrial furniture in ex- GDR sites like old breweries, factory buildings, and abandoned Russian army barracks. When they met, they were pleased to discover their shared passion and realized they had collected more items than their apartment and cellar could hold, so in 2012 they opened J&V Finest Industrial Vintage Furniture in a beautiful Schöneberg neighborhood. Here you can find such treasures as metal storage cabinets and wooden boxes, Rowac stools, neon promotional letters and signs, Midgrad lamps, wall clocks, and even medicine balls and sport rings – with beauty and function restored. Times have changed and the “wild East” may be a thing of the past, but they continue to find charming industrial originals and oddities for their store, furniture not famous for its name but appreciated for its quality craftsmanship and history.
