(ELPE) will re­sort to im­port­ing fuel from abroad in or­der to se­cure the mar­ket’s nor­mal sup­ply dur­ing a 10-day strike by its em­ploy­ees that starts to­mor­row. Ac­cord­ing to a Reuters re­port that was con­firmed by the group’s of­fi­cials, ELPE is con­tem­plat­ing the ac­qui­si­tion of some 60,000 tons of re­fined prod­ucts through auc­tion, to be de­liv­ered in mid-May. Such im­ports also helped sat­isfy mar­ket de­mand dur­ing an ear­lier 10-day strike in April, the of­fi­cials said.
