The coun­try’s fi­nan­cial un­cer­tainty was again re­flected on the lo­cal bourse yes­ter­day as it re­sumed its south­bound course. The Athens Ex­change (ATHEX) gen­eral in­dex ended at 1,355.30 points, de­clin­ing by 2.38 per­cent from Wed­nes­day’s close. The blue chip FTSE/ATHEX 20 in­dex shrank by 2.48 per­cent to end at 605.44 points. Turnover came to 71 mil­lion eu­ros. OPAP was the only blue chip to post gains (up 0.69 per­cent), while Pi­raeus Bank was the worst off, de­clin­ing by 4.85 per­cent.
