Tak­ing his cue from the rise of so­cial me­dia, Plessas has cre­ated a hy­brid space where vis­i­tors can com­mu­ni­cate through the In­ter­net and mu­sic. An­to­nis Polykan­dri­o­tis

> Athens > To June 10 The Cul­tural Or­ga­ni­za­tion of the City of Athens is putting to­gether a tribute to lo­cal artist An­to­nis Polykan­dri­o­tis (1904-90). The show in­cludes some 60 sig­na­ture works by the artist, rang­ing from por­traits to land­scapes, and is billed as a pre­lude to an up­com­ing large-scale ret­ro­spec­tive. Born in Paris, Fo­la­tre grew up in New York and re­turned to Paris to study. She moved to Greece a few years ago and com­mutes reg­u­larly be­tween Athens, Paris and the Cy­cladic is­lands.
