Deputy Ed­u­ca­tion Min­is­ter Efi Christofilopoulou yes­ter­day re­buffed re­ports claim­ing that cut­backs in the ed­u­ca­tion sec­tor would lead to non-English for­eign lan­guage classes be­ing axed at state ju­nior high schools, clar­i­fy­ing that each school would be lim­ited to choos­ing one for­eign lan­guage to teach to pupils. Schools can choose be­tween French, Ger­man and Ital­ian.
