Three sus­pected mem­bers of the Rev­o­lu­tion­ary Strug­gle ur­ban guer­rilla group should not re­main in cus­tody, a coun­cil of ap­peals court judges ruled yes­ter­day. The judges up­held a court de­ci­sion from April, which ruled that the sus­pects, Christoforos Korte­sis, Saran­tos Nik­i­topou­los and Evan­ge­los Stathopou­los, should be bailed. They have been barred from leav­ing the coun­try. Three other sus­pected mem­bers of the group, Nikos Mazi­o­tis, Panayiota Roupa and Costas Gour­nas, re­main in cus­tody pend­ing trial. The group has been linked to a se­ries of bomb blasts and a rocket-pro­pelled grenade at­tack on the US Em­bassy in Athens.
