> Nafplio > June 21-30 The 22nd edition of the Nafplion Festival takes place at the seaside Peloponnesian town from June 21-30. Under the guidance of artistic director Yiannis Vakarelis, the event features 45 music ensembles and soloists performing at landmark locations including the Palamidi Fortress and Aghios Georgios Square, as well as new venues such as the Fougaro cultural center. The Nafplion Festival showcases the Nafplion Festival Ensemble, the Greek National Opera, as well as Greek, Danish, Austrian, Polish, Lithuanian and French musicians.
