> Naf­plio > June 21-30 The 22nd edi­tion of the Naf­plion Fes­ti­val takes place at the sea­side Pelo­pon­nesian town from June 21-30. Un­der the guid­ance of artis­tic di­rec­tor Yian­nis Vakarelis, the event fea­tures 45 mu­sic ensem­bles and soloists per­form­ing at land­mark lo­ca­tions in­clud­ing the Palamidi Fortress and Aghios Ge­or­gios Square, as well as new venues such as the Fougaro cul­tural cen­ter. The Naf­plion Fes­ti­val show­cases the Naf­plion Fes­ti­val En­sem­ble, the Greek National Opera, as well as Greek, Dan­ish, Aus­trian, Pol­ish, Lithua­nian and French mu­si­cians.
