One in four Greeks wants to leave coun­try, EU finds

A quar­ter (24 per­cent) of Greeks want to re­lo­cate to an­other coun­try per­ma­nently and of th­ese 63 per­cent want to mi­grate to an­other Euro­pean coun­try, ac­cord­ing to the re­sults of the Euro­pean Com­mis­sion’s quar­terly re­port on the em­ploy­ment and so­cial sit­u­a­tion in the Euro­pean Union. The re­port showed that 4.1 per­cent of Greeks want to re­lo­cate in the next 12 months, com­pared to an EU aver­age of 1.2 per­cent.
