> Athens > To Jan­uary 19 The Be­naki Mu­seum’s Pireos Street an­nex is show­cas­ing the­o­ries of ur­ban plan­ning de­vel­oped at the height of Ja­pan’s artis­tic re­vival in the 1960s. The ex­hi­bi­tion presents Kenzo Tange’s “A Plan for Tokyo – 1960,” the Metabolist schemes of Kiy­onori Kiku­take, Masato Oh­taka, Fu­mi­hiko Maki and Noboru Kawa­zoe, and Arata Isozaki’s “Cities in the Air,” with a fo­cus on prob­lems spe­cific to Tokyo in the 60s while ad­dress­ing global is­sues re­lated to con­tem­po­rary ur­ban­ism.
