The research used the responses of 1,250 users of social networks in the period November-December 2013.

YouTube users choose it in order to listen to music (77 percent) and to seek out things that interest them (68 percent), while 30 percent use it to gain information. Facebook is accessed by 61 percent of its users in an active way – i.e. to promote their views and for communication – while 31 percent use it in a passive manner, following developments and their friends.
