> Athens > Novem­ber 5 The Onas­sis Cul­tural Cen­ter in Athens will host Amer­i­can au­thor Paul Auster in con­ver­sa­tion with jour­nal­is­tau­thor Elias Magli­nis on Wed­nes­day, Novem­ber 5. Auster, au­thor of The New York Tril­ogy, among oth­ers, will dis­cuss the un­seen world of his books and his life while ad­dress­ing the so­cial and po­lit­i­cal is­sues af­flict­ing his home­land and the world to­day. The event, with si­mul­ta­ne­ous trans­la­tion into Greek, is part of the “Talks and Thoughts” cy­cle and takes place from 7 to 9 p.m. Ad­mis­sion is free and based on a first-come, first­served ba­sis with en­trance vouch­ers dis­trib­uted one hour prior to the event.
