> Athens > To Jan­uary The Her­ak­lei­don Mu­seum is cel­e­brat­ing its 10th an­niver­sary with the in­au­gu­ra­tion of a new space, a fully re­stored neo­clas­si­cal build­ing near the in­sti­tu­tion’s main build­ing in Thi­seio, cen­tral Athens. The venue’s first ex­hi­bi­tion, “Me­ta­mor­phoses of Athens: A Pho­to­graphic Itin­er­ary 1839-1950,” will re­main on dis­play un­til Jan­uary. The dis­play showcases archival ma­te­rial col­lected by pho­tog­ra­phy his­to­rian and col­lec­tor Haris Yi­ak­oumis.
