> Athens > Novem­ber 24 A screen­ing of “Pro­makhos” is sched­uled to take place at the Acrop­o­lis Mu­seum in Athens on Mon­day, Novem­ber 24. Writ­ten, di­rected and pro­duced by brothers Co­erte and John Voorhees, the film fol­lows the fic­tional story of two Athe­nian at­tor­neys who are han­dling a law­suit against the Bri­tish Mu­seum for the re­turn of the Parthenon Mar­bles to Greece. The film’s cast in­cludes Gian­carlo Gian­nini, Paul Free­man, Michael Byrne, Ge­orges Cor­raface, and Yorgo Vo­giatzis, among oth­ers. An avant-premiere is also set to take place at Vil­lage at The Mall in Maroussi, north­ern Athens, on Tues­day, Novem­ber 25, while the film is due to open at lo­cal the­aters on Thurs­day, Novem­ber 27.
