There will be limited public transport in Athens tomorrow due to unions taking part in the 24hour general strike. Buses and trolley buses will not run before 9 a.m. or after 9 p.m., while the Kifissia-Piraeus electric railway (ISAP) and the metro will not run before 10 p.m. or after 4 p.m. Also, the metro will stop at Doukissis Plakentias station and will not travel to Athens International Airport. This is because of a strike by workers at the Hellenic Railways Organization (OSE), which means that all inter-city trains and Proastiakos suburban railway trains will be cancelled. Workers on the tram in Athens will walk off the job before 9 a.m. and after 5 p.m. Air traffic controllers are also due to strike, which is likely to cause disruptions to flights in and out of Greece.
