> Athens > To Jan­uary 11 The Be­naki Mu­seum’s Pireos Street an­nex is cur­rently host­ing “De­pres­sion Era,” an ex­hi­bi­tion de­pict­ing the ur­ban and so­cial land­scape of the Greek cri­sis, through Jan­uary 11. A mo­saic of dif­fer­ent nar­ra­tives and ideas, the show is a col­lec­tive doc­u­men­ta­tion of the trau­matic trans­for­ma­tions trig­gered by cri­sis through images and texts cre­ated by 36 artists, writ­ers, ar­chi­tects, jour­nal­ists and re­searchers. The De­pres­sion Era col­lec­tive and the non­profit or­ga­ni­za­tion KOLEKTIV8 that sup­ports it were es­tab­lished in 2011. The show in­cludes works by Panos Kokkinias, Spyros Staveris, Pav­los Fysakis, Dim­itris Micha­lakis, Eirini Vourloumis and Yian­nis Theodor­opou­los and is cu­rated by Pet­ros Babasikas, Pav­los Fysakis, Yor­gos Pri­nos, Dim­itris Tsoumplekas and Pasqua Vor­gia.
