The Her­ak­lei­don Mu­seum An­nex in cen­tral Athens presents “The Amaz­ing In­ven­tions of the An­cient Greeks,” an ex­hi­bi­tion show­cas­ing items from the Mu­seum of An­cient Greek Tech­nol­ogy founded by Kostas Kot­sanas in Katakolo, in the Pelo­pon­nese. The dis­play fea­tures func­tional mod­els of some of the most ex­tra­or­di­nary an­cient Greek in­ven­tions, in­clud­ing Philo’s “ro­bot-ser­vant” and Ae­neas’ hy­draulic tele­graph. The show runs through Jan­uary 10. Open­ing hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Fri­days to Wed­nes­days and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thurs­days.
