The Em­bassy of Switzer­land, the Jewish Mu­seum of Greece and the Cer­vantes In­sti­tute in Athens are or­ga­niz­ing a screen­ing of Daniel von Aar­burg’s 2014 doc­u­men­tary “Carl Lutz: The For­got­ten Hero,” to take place at the Cer­vantes In­sti­tute on Wed­nes­day, Oc­to­ber 14. The film traces the life of Lutz, a diplo­mat and sec­ond-in-com­mand at the Swiss Em­bassy in Bu­dapest, who saved tens of thou­sands of Hun­gar­ian Jews dur­ing World War II.
