Organized by the Greek Foreign Ministry, the meeting, which ends today, aims to encourage leaders to protect religious minorities, particularly Christians, in the Middle East and promote religious and cultural coexistence, the ministry said. Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias told those attending that Greece could act as an ‘honest broker’ in the region.
