The Benaki Museum in Athens is currently hosting an exhibition titled “Santiago Calatrava: The Renaissance of the Church of St Nicholas at Ground Zero.” The show traces the Spanish architect’s project to replace New York’s Greek Orthodox church of St Nicholas, which was destroyed on September 11, 2001, with a new church at Ground Zero.
